The great fear that the ladies in the family have is their so called holiday will mean swopping a familiar kitchen for an unfamiliar one, and the affordable will mean using it all the time.
Look at it another way. There are supermarkets close by, in fact you can use them to reduce your holiday bar bill hotel style enormously by buying your booze at locals price. Breakfasts can be eaten when you want, because the makings will be readily available in the fridge. There is very little hassle in this, and indeed it gives a great deal of freedom.

Eating out gives you variety and better prices, and quite frankly a lot more fun than the same dining room every night.

There are concerns that accommodation too close to San Pedro makes for too much noise and hustle, but The Landings at Tres Cocos shows that not to be true. It is very quiet and relaxing but near enough for teenage kids and rejuvenated parents to do the town so to speak.
