Each suite has a well equipped kitchen and there is a supermarket right outside the resort if you want to cook. You should understand right away that Xanadu Island Resort doesn’t have a bar or restaurant, which is somewhat unusual for a resort. This does mean it is very quiet and peaceful, and there are a number of bars and restaurants close by, or within easy walking distance, and that is great fun to be able to eat in a different place all the time, but can be a little inconvenient when you want a drink during the day, but there is always your fridge.

Whether this lack of eating and drinking facilities means that Xanadu Island Resort isn’t a hotel/resort is a moot point, but to save any doubt, it is how effective the staff are that makes you realise how good a resort this is.. You can run an account when booking excursions or scuba diving, and the politeness and willingness of the staff is an example to many other un named and unshamed places.
