The villas are very spacious, very comfortable, and seem very new, with glorious views of the sea. If you have a two bedroom villa, then you will have two sundecks, one outside the master bedroom, and a great place to sit in the morning looking out and just relaxing in a dressing gown, whilst the birds cavort around, and the noises from the undergrowth are the way you know you are in the tropics.

There can be some confusion over when is a resort like this actually a self catering holiday, and when is it a hotel. Pelican Reef Villas Resort actually doesn’t have a restaurant, a lounge, so there are no meals, but there is a swim up bar in the pool, and a full service bar. What really qualifies Pelican Reef Villas Resort as a Hotel/Resort is the fact that there is housekeeping service every day, which pretty well takes care of the routine chores, and apart from the lack of a restaurant there is pretty well all of the facilities you would expect in a hotel, such as pool, and the staff who look after you who are excellent. In fact you won’t really miss a restaurant on the premises, because for one thing they do restrict what you do and when you do it. You do have a fully equipped kitchen if you want to use it.
